JayDoc Clinic : Saturdays 9am-12pm

We are looking for volunteer pharmacists for the KU JayDoc Clinic held at the Guadalupe Clinic.  The Guadalupe Clinic, a ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Wichita, provides medical services to those without medical insurance. The general clinics are ran by student physicians and student pharmacists and are held on Saturdays at 940 S. St. Francis from 9:00 am until approximately noon.  We are in need of one volunteer pharmacist each Saturday to supervise and guide two pharmacy students.

As a volunteer pharmacist, you will be expected to build and encourage a strong learning environment for the student volunteers by asking questions and encouraging student discussion as well as guide and supervise student volunteers for each assigned patient.

There is no minimum time commitment and you do not need to be a registered preceptor to volunteer.  The only volunteer requirement is that you are licensed pharmacist in the state of Kansas and are in good standing with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please email the KU School of Pharmacy JayDoc Coordinator at wichitajaydoc@gmail.com and they will send you additional information.

Interested in becoming the WAP student liaison?
